Galliani defends Beckham deal: AC Milan squad not old

AC Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani has defended their move for LA Galaxy star David Beckham. Critics have highlighted the average age of Milan's squad, but Galliani said: "I do not think we're looking to the past - Ronaldinho is 28, he is young, so we do not look to the past or the future. "Certainly we are the team with the most appeal in Italy, Milan, at least for our fans, are liked ... "As for Beckham, the negotiations are not yet complete, we must define everything with his lawyers and with Galaxy. I am confident, but it's not there yet."
