AC Milan chief Adriano Galliani is convinced the good times are returning.
Milan have won three games on the bounce.
“The youth academy is our factory," Galliani told Milan Channel. “The objective is look for one player a year for the first team.
“We are in the lead, when you count up Cristante, Donnarumma and Calabria in the last 2-3 years. Next year we will bring in another, but we won't say any names until the meeting next year.
“It's something to be proud of (four full-backs trained in the academy). If we add in Donnarumma we have five in the first team.
“We're returning to 1986 when Baresi, Maldini, Costacurta, Galli and Evani were playing.
“I'm very satisfied to have so many guys from the youth academy and also so many Italians in general in the team. I think it's the right road to follow.
“We have identified a number of players who we think can get to Serie A.
“We make them train differently, do a specific school curriculum and we hope that we'll get more players into the first team."
