AC Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani has hit out at claims that coach Carlo Ancelotti didn't want several of their summer signings.
"It is absurd that this myth has been linked to the fact that some players have been selected by Ancelotti and some by others at the club," said Galliani. "All the players, exceptional, medium and reserves are always signed in full agreement with the coach.
"For example, Marco Borriello was wanted by the entire staff of Milan, he had the characteristics suited to our game and was complementary with the players we already had here."
