AC Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani admits the status of Kevin-Prince Boateng has not yet been decided.
The latter caused controversy, as the Rossoneri took the Ghanaian on loan straight after his switch from Portsmouth.
Galliani said: "It is not yet decided whether for Boateng it is just a loan. It is possible from here to the end of the transfer market we could buy out half his contract.
"There are two alternatives. Either he plays for Milan on loan with an option to buy or in a co-ownership deal with Genoa."
