AC Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani says they couldn't compete with Barcelona for former Arsenal midfielder Cesc Fabregas.
Cesc completed his move to Barca yesterday, with Galliani admitting Milan had made enquiries after the World Cup winner during the summer.
"He had a very high cost, but this is a problem in general for Italian clubs," said Galliani.
"We cannot compete with the money they have in Spain. Fabregas could not come to us due to revenue."
