Galliani adamant AC Milan will keep chequebook closed in January

AC Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani is adamant they will not buy players next month.

"I don't see any problems and I believe we can start another good run of results," Galliani told Sky Sport Italia.

"Our form has clearly dropped but it's just a brief period of crisis and we are still the same side we were four weeks ago.

"We will not move for anyone during the transfer window. We have simply suffered one too many injuries at the back - that's where the problems lie.

"I don't know why you keep mentioning Thiago Silva. He can't arrive because he owns a Brazilian passport and is a non-EU player."
