AC Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani has credited his players for the classy way they accepted defeat to Arsenal on Tuesday night.

He said: "I think we know how to lose. We demonstrated it last night, because knowing how to lose is more difficult than knowing how to win.

"I give my compliments to all of Arsenal that deserved to reach the next round, despite some bitterness because their goals came when we were having the best of the game."
