AC Milan chief Adriano Galliani admits they'll drop plans to sign another midfielder for the crocked Rino Gattuso.

"We are considering what to do, there's no hurry, and we're thinking together with Carlo Ancelotti in Dubai," said Galliani. "(Marek) Jankulovski can be used permanently in midfield, maybe a defender could arrive.

"We have already made a major investment in Thiago Silva for June, so if we happen, in January, to find an opportunity for good value for money we'll take it, otherwise we'll remain as we are."
