AC Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani has played down their interest in Internacional de Porto Alegre starlet Alexandre Pato.

Pato's agent, Gilmar Veloz, is in Italy this week and was expected to meet with Milan directors yesterday, but Galliani said: "Meeting Pato's agent does not interest us particularly, they're always in papers telling us what they're doing.

"If they have some talented players, they try to speak with as many teams as possible in order to trigger an auction."
