Gallas, Pienaar set for Tottenham return

Tottenham coach Clive Allen has confirmed that William Gallas and Steven Pienaar are back in training and could be included in the squad for this weekend's Premier League fixture.

Spurs host fellow Londoners QPR on Sunday and Allen has indicated that central defender Gallas, who has been sidelined with calf injuries, and midfielder Pienaar, who has struggled after having groin surgery, could be in Harry Redknapp's match-day squad.

"We're pretty much as we were at the weekend," Allen told London24.com.

"There's one or two players coming back who are joining in.

"Steven Pienaar and William Gallas are back in training, which is good, so we'll hopefully have one or two more to select from on Sunday.

"I don't know if William will play but he could well be involved, he may make the bench. It just depends on the reaction to his training this week."
