Tottenham veteran William Gallas is happy to mentor the young French players at the club.
Gallas has been capped 85 times, and he believes that the influence his old France captain Marcel Desailly had on him is starting to rub off on his compatriots at Tottenham - Younes Kaboul and Seb Bassong.
Gallas, 34, spent three years with Desailly at Chelsea as the pupil learning from the master.
Now he says: "I hope my experience is helping the other guys.
"I have played in the Premier League a long time and I speak a lot with the young guys, Bassong, Kaboul.
"Sometimes in training they watch how I play, and they try to do the same thing as me. I did the same with Desailly.
"It is the best way to improve players. I can help them with how I play. I am a professional guy so it is good for Tottenham."
