Some familiar faces returned to Chivas USA training this week with one especially happy to be fit. Chivas USA striker Maykel Galindo told Luis Bueno for mlsnet: "I feel happy. We all know what happened last year with my injuries and now to be back with the team it feels good. I'm doubly happy."
Midfielder Jesse Marsch, in his 13th MLS season, is very aware of what it takes to prepare correctly for the season.
"Every day has to be about getting a little sharper and getting a little better and establishing yourself within the team for each individual and as a group," Marsch said. "As much as you have two months to get ready, you don't really have any time to waste. You want to make sure every day you get something out of it and that you're pushing each other the right way and I feel like today was a good start."
Chivas USA face Colorado Rapids in Los Angeles March 21st.
