Galatasaray are making a move for Inter Milan defender Cristian Chivu.

The injury of Tomas Ujfalusi has forced Gala to make contact with Inter for the Romania international.

Gala are exploring whether they can sign Chivu, despite the closure of the summer market.

If no immediate deal can happen, Gala will wait until January to bring the veteran to Istanbul.
