Turkish giants Galatasaray are interested in two Premier League defenders, according to The Sun.

The report claims that the Turkish side have identified Middlesbrough defender Daniel Ayala as one of their targets and are prepared to make a £8.5million offer the out-of-favour player.

The 26-year-old has fallen down the pecking order at the Riverside Stadium following the arrival of Callum Chambers on loan from Arsenal and has made only six league appearances this season.

Galatasaray are also interested in another out-of-favour defender in Liverpool centre-back Mamadou Sakho.

The Frenchman hasn't made an appearance for the Reds this season after falling out with manager Jurgen Klopp during pre-season.
