Galatasaray are ready to snap up Aston Villa striker Marlon Harewood on a free transfer.

Harewood, 30, was on loan at Newcastle United earlier this season and hasn't played a first-team game since suffering a broken metatarsal while training with Villa in January.

Burnley, Sheffield United and Qatar-based side Al-Sadd are also showing interest in Harewood, who is off contract next month.
