Galatasaray striker Didier Drogba is ready to face his 'father' Jose Mourinho and Real Madrid in their Champions League showdown.

Drogba has made a glowing tribute to his former Chelsea manager.

"I face my father Mourinho. He has a special place in my life, he changed me," said Drogba.

"I have many memories of Mourinho. Sometimes, Chelsea scored two goals and other targets were not met, it could not do.

"But other times, he'd be peaceful, keeping everyone confident and calm. It is typical of a man always under spotlights, and caring for each and every player. And he strives to make each of them the best he can be."
