Galatasaray signing Jose Rodriguez has paid tribute to Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho.

Rodriguez says Mourinho gave him his one chance at Real Madrid.

"Every little boy's dream is to play for Real Madrid, and I was able to do that at the Bernabéu, and I cannot ever forget the man who believed in me and gave me my chance - Mourinho," he said.

"Thank you for those brilliant moments when I had the chance to enjoy myself in the league and in the Champions League and the Spanish Cup. It was an accelerated masters' course in football and I shall always remember his good advice."
