Galatasaray's Kewell admits there are positive signs for Australia

Australia winger Harry Kewell admits things under Holger Osieck are looking very positive.

The Galatasaray star played in the Socceroos 1-0 win over Poland in Sydney on Saturday night and was buoyed by the performance of the side.

''We're working, we're working very hard,'' Kewell said. ''The new trainer has got some ideas, he's starting with the basics, and he's working his way up the ladder and you know, I can see some positive signs. It's not pretty at the moment but I'm quite confident he can get us right for the Asian Cup.

''[Paraguay] was a good run out for the team. A very tough game, but I think we did well. We stuck to our guns, especially from set pieces, and I'm proud of all the boys.''
