Galatasaray coach Frank Rijkaard remains keen on Villarreal striker Jozy Altidore.

The USA international was close to a move to Istanbul in the summer and remains a target for Gala ahead of the winter market.

Altidore has found himself frozen out at Villarreal since returning from last season's ill-fated loan spell in England with Hull City.
