Galatasaray president Unal Aysal admits they've held talks with Newcastle United striker Demba Ba.

But he says negotiations have now run cold.

"(Manager) Fatih (Terim) had negotiations but then gave up. Our senior striker must be a 'name' - that name will not be Demba Ba.," he said.
