Turkish club Galatasaray are planning a swoop for two more Australian players to add to their list.
Already with Lucas Neill and Harry Kewell on their books, Gala' are believed to be interested in Blackburn Rovers hardman Vince Grella and Palermo midfielder Mark Bresciano although manager Frank Rijkaard stopped short of naming names in an interview on Fox Sports.
"There are a lot of players linked with Galatasaray, but it's interesting because we want to make the next step and to do that we definitely need some new players," the Dutchman said.
"Thinking of the experience Galatasaray has had with Lucas Neill and Harry Kewell means that we can focus on other Australian players.
"I think we should evaluate everything. We (are set to finish) third this year. The year before Galatasaray finished fifth. And to take the next step we definitely need fresh blood in the team."
