Galatasaray's Dutch coach Jan Olde Riekerink is chasing Manchester United outcast Memphis Depay.

Riekerink has recommended his countryman to Gala's board and they're planning a January cash offer for the former PSV star.

Gala will bid €17 million for Memphis and hope their Dutch influence will convince him about moving to Istanbul.

Riekerink, a former youth coach at Ajax, knows plenty about Memphis while observing him come through at PSV.

Along with the head coach, also playing for Gala are Dutchmen Wesley Sneijder and Nigel de Jong.
