Galatasaray have made a move for Inter Milan defender Cristian Chivu.

The Romanian veteran comes off contract this month.

"The situation could become clearer by the end of this week," agent Victor Becali told Dolce Sport.

"Galatasaray are interested, but I can't really say too much at this moment in time. We'll have to wait for developments.

"He could also stay at Inter, but let's see what happens."
