Udinese's friendly with Galatasaray was abandoned yesterday due to crowd disturbances.

The match was played in Klagenfurt, but Galatasaray supporters attended in big numbers.

The referee had to suspend play the first time after just seven minutes due to flares being thrown on to the pitch.

After resuming, with a series of loud explosions and red smoke covering the entire goalmouth, the game was abandoned after 35 minutes.
