Galatasaray boss Prandelli happy messing with Arsenal minds

Galatasaray boss Cesare Prandelli is happy to mess with the heads of Champions League opponents Arsenal.

The Turkish giants won the Gunners' own pre-season tournament last year, beating Arsene Wenger's men en route.

The event is usually dismissed as nothing more than a summer workout. But Galatasaray boss Prandelli, who was in charge of Italy at the World Cup, said: "All these experiences psychologically boost morale.

"It can bring an advantage, we believe we have to be brave. I believe we don't know what we can do, we can actually improve from today onwards.

"We're playing against a quality experienced team. We will be a bit more controlled, we will try to play our own game.

"They will try to come to our half, I will try to hold the position, we'll have to play a controlled game. Arsenal has always had first class players and we have to make sure we don't change our philosophy and play our own game."
