Galatasaray boss Mancini: I can't remember why Man City didn't get Juventus' Pogba

Roberto Mancini admits he cannot remember why Manchester City did not bring in Paul Pogba on a free transfer a couple of years back.

The talented Frenchman left Manchester United for Juventus in the summer of 2012 but Galatasaray boss Mancini, then with City, suggests he could have even ended up at the Etihad Stadium.

"Yes, I really like him. Two years ago we could have brought him to Manchester City on a free transfer," Mancini told Tuttosport.

"I can't really remember why we decided not to."
