QPR are expected to challenge Galatasaray for Arsenal attacker Andrey Arshavin.
The Daily Mail says Arsenal have edged closer to offload big-money flop Arshavin after Galatasary made a £4million offer.
QPR boss Mark Hughes is also interested in signing the Russian playmaker but the Turkish club have made their move to take him ahead of the new season.
