Gael Bigirimana is proud to be pulling on the Newcastle United shirt.

The youngster shone in the 1-0 win over Monaco on Monday night.

He told the Evening Chronicle: "It just amazing playing in a black-and-white shirt.

"It's an honour to put that kit on - Newcastle is a big club, and I'm just privileged to wear the shirt."
