Gabriel Barbosa is delighted with his move to Benfica.

The Inter Milan striker has joined on a season-long loan.

"Gabriel has 12 proposals," intermediary Cesar Boaventura told Radio Renascenca.

“The Sporting Coach was in constant contact with Joao Mario to talk to Gabriel, and the offer from Sporting was more lucrative, but when he learned of interest from Benfica, he chose this team.

“Another proposal came in from Porto, which arrived via an intermediary tied to Wagner Ribeiro.

“Although the Benfica offer was the lowest, it was accepted because he chose this team."
