QPR signing Danny Gabbidon is ready for the new Premier League season.
Gabbidon is looking forward to a fresh start with QPR on their return to the Premier League after a 15-year absence.
"I wasn't too bothered about being in London, I was keen to go wherever I needed to really," said the former West Ham United defender.
"After meeting the manager (Neil Warnock) and seeing what he had to say I just thought it would be a good challenge for me.
"I'd had five years at West Ham but my contract was finished there.
"I went to Rangers and trained with them for a week and I think they were quite happy with what they saw."
