Fraser Fyvie says he's improved since quitting Aberdeen for Wigan Athletic.

The teenage midfielder joined the Latics from Aberdeen last summer.

He said in the Daily Record: "I haven't played all season but I'm learning so much that I didn't know before I went to Wigan. I feel I'm ready now to progress to the next level and break into the team.

"Everyone knows the style of football Martinez likes to play, which is probably the way every footballer would want to.

"I'm really enjoying it, I just need a chance in the first team and I'll enjoy it even more."
