Tottenham defender Zeki Fryers insists quitting Manchester United 18 months ago was a "step up".
Fryers is in contention to start for Tottenham against United today.
"A lot of people say that when you leave Man United you go down," said Fryers. 'But I feel like I've gone up in terms of development."
He added: "There were certain things there that didn't fall my way and I thought it was time to move on. I wanted to be more involved around the first team and it's happened that I've come here and I've been involved regularly."
