Future of Sochaux's Davies uncertain - DC United president

The DC United future of Sochaux striker Charlie Davies is uncertain according to club president Kevin Payne.

The 25-year old spent the season on loan with DC from the French outfit and did well, scoring 11 goals, but Payne admits he is unsure if the Washington club can hold onto his services.

"I don't think we know yet. We're going to talk to Charlie and his representatives and make a determination," Payne told the Washington Post.

"He had mixed results. Charlie had good games and games that maybe weren't quite so good. He's a good person. We enjoyed him being part of the team. We'll see if it makes sense for that to continue.

"We're going to look at the big picture and figure out what makes the most sense for us. We're certainly going to take his wishes into consideration."
