Manchester United players are furious with Liverpool playmaker Charlie Adam for the way he won the free-kick for their goal in Saturday's 1-1 draw.
The midfielder went sprawling after the faintest of touches from Rio Ferdinand, winning the free-kick from which Steven Gerrard shot the Reds in front.
Some of United's stars were still far from convinced, even though television replays did back up Adam's insistence that contact was made, says The Sun.
And when MUTV - the club's in-house television station - broadcast a post-match Phil Jones interview, they edited out his criticism of Adam.
Even Ferdinand confessed he had clipped Adam, although he questioned whether it was enough to send the 13st Scot to ground.
