Liverpool have pulled out of a friendly with Borussia Monchengladbach over their interest in Rhian Brewster.
The Times says Liverpool have cancelled a pre-season friendly against Gladbach because of the German club's pursuit of Brewster.
There's claims they have gone a step too far amid apparent 'tapping up concerns'.
Liverpool have not only cancelled their pre-season friendly with the club but have also written to Monchengladbach and warned them over their conduct in pursuing the teenager, report The Times.
Should he secure a move to the Bundesliga side Brewster would become just the latest English youngster to seal a move to Germany, following in the footsteps of Jadon Sancho and Keanan Bennetts.
