Barcelona coach Ernesto Valverde turned on Luis Suarez during victory at Getafe on Saturday.

Diario Gol says Valverde, who has long had concerns over Suarez's weight and fitness, gave the striker both barrels at halftime with the game in the balance.

The ferocity of Valverde's blast took the players aback, though it did the trick with Barca fighting back to win 2-1 on the day.

At the final whistle, the coach made a beeline for Suarez and had words of encouragement for the Uruguayan.

However, among his staff, he has complained about the striker's weight and focus, with the belief being Suarez is more worried about Uruguay's World Cup campaign than his club commitments.
