Fulham fullback Paul Stalteri believes the competition for places at Manchester United is the key to their success.

On-loan from Tottenham, Canada international Stalteri was on the wrong end of United's 3-0 victory on Saturday and said: "Guys like Nani, Louis Saha and Park are not in this team for any other reason than that they are world-class players.
"Games like this are a great opportunity to show that they should be in the regular starting XI so they are giving it something extra.
"It doesn't matter who United put out, they are still one of the best teams in Europe.
"In fact they could field two teams against pretty much any other team in the league."
