John Arne Riise admits Fulham were outclassed by Manchester United for last night's defeat.
United thumped their hosts 5-0.
"We decided at half-time just to go out and have a go - to show what we can do - and I think we did that. On another night we could have scored a few goals and gone some way to making up for the first-half - maybe changed the game.
"Yeah, they scored two goals at the end, but it was the three silly goals in the first-half that killed the game. We weren't aggressive enough and it was a poor performance.""We played poorly in the first-half, gave away three stupid goals and the game was really over after that," Riise told fulhamfc.com. "We were disappointed because we were up for it before the game, but the early goal put us on the back foot, they got the momentum and we never recovered.
