Blackburn Rovers have signed Fulham captain Danny Murphy.

The Mail on Sunday says Murphy has completed his free transfer move from Fulham to Blackburn after turning down a last-minute approach from Queens Park Rangers.

The 35-year-old midfielder has decided to drop down a division after being offered a two-year deal by Rovers, whose 11-year stay in the Premier League came to an end last season.
