Fulham midfielder Danny Murphy bears no grudges towards former club Tottenham ahead of tomorrow's meeting.

He told fulhamfc.com: "For me it was simple. Whatever age you are, unless you are 19 or 20 and trying to break through, I think you've got to be playing more than you're not. In today's game to expect to play every game, especially at the big clubs, is unrealistic.

"Your aim has to be to play generally most of the time. You've got to train for something at the end of the week. If you're content being at a club where you train and do nothing at the end of each week, then there's something wrong. For me, I just wanted to play. I love playing and being out there - that's what it's all about."
