He told the Daily Record: "I've loved every minute of my time at Rangers and winning the Scottish Cup helped heal the pain of losing the title and the UEFA Cup final.
"The fans took to me straight away and I want to thank them for that because it really helped me to settle in quickly and made sure I enjoyed my football from day one.
"Just going there was a dream but to win two cups and get into a Euro final was incredible.
"I've a lot of mementos with me like shirts and, of course, my medals but I really hope I haven't worn the Rangers shirt for a final time.
"It was a lifelong dream to play for the club and what fan wouldn't want to play there?"
