Philippe Christanval hopes to return to Fulham training next week.

Cottagers medical chief Lorenzo Masci told the club's website: "Christanval recently experienced a recurrence of an old problem with some swelling around the sesamoid bone near the big toe.

"He had a cortisone injection on Friday and we are hoping to settle it down. He will be cross training for the rest of this week and, if all goes well, we hope to have him back in full training next week."
