Jimmy Bullard has told Fulham fans his rehab from knee surgery is "going brilliantly".
The midfielder told fulhamfc.com: "It's going brilliantly to be honest. I've added the football and this week I've just started side footing the ball and doing volleys. I've also been doing a lot of lateral work, around the cones, hurdles, changing directions, right, left, everything really.
"I've stepped up the running with 25 minute runs at three quarter pace with a heart rate monitor so I don't drop below a certain level. I've also been doing 200m runs and 100m runs at 80% pace which is good for the knee.
"All the muscles around the knee are stronger and I'm relying more on the muscles and ligaments with my injury now. All through my career I've got to keep my muscles in shape around my knee. I'm well on schedule and I feel great doing all the twists and turns and I've not had any hiccups since I got back from America to be honest."
He added "We've got seven great signings and the gaffers done quality. He's brought in good players that are hungry and want to do it and I can't wait to see them play and get the League underway because the boys seem ready for it. There's a new feel around the place with fresh minds and legs."
