Fulham midfielder Jimmy Bullard will miss the opening month of the season.

The midfielder damaged his cruciate ligaments last August and has not played for the Cottagers since.

Boss Lawrie Sanchez said: "I don't think he will be ready now until September. I want him to be fit and ready, even if that means curbing some of his enthusiasm."
