Five players from MLS youth academies have been included in the USA U17 squad for this week’s Nike International Friendlies in Florida.

Five players from MLS youth academies have been included in the USA U17 squad for this week’s Nike International Friendlies in Florida.

Richie Williams’ US side takes on Brazil, England and Portugal on Monday, Wednesday and Friday this week with all matches taking place at Premier Sports Campus in Lakewood Ranch.

The quintet from MLS clubs is made up of Hugo Arellano (Chivas USA), George Braima (Columbus Crew), Matthew Olosunde (New York Red Bulls), Haji Wright (LA Galaxy) and Alejandro Zendejas (FC Dallas) while Fulham’s Luca De La Torre and Monterrey’s Joe Gallardo represent those based out of the US.
