Fulham winger Damien Duff was delighted with his goal in their draw at Manchester City.
The Irishman truck in the 1-1 result.
"It's always nice to score a goal, and help contribute to a positive result and performance," Duff told fulhamfc.com. "I wouldn't say that I'm in the side to score goals, but if I can then that's a good thing.
"It was more pleasing for the team though, because it was a valuable point for us. Who knows, perhaps we could have taken more? We certainly gave a good account of ourselves at the City of Manchester Stadium and more than held our own against one of the league's top sides.
"It was a great cross from AJ and one that any winger would have been proud of. But he has that quality, he's a clever player. He took up a great position and put the ball into a very dangerous position.
"I was there to turn the ball home, but it was a terrific delivery. It came from a great move and pass from Brede Hangeland - and that's the type of football we are capable of and want to be playing."
