Fulham endured a difficult start in their return to the Premier League this past weekend.
While they had some positive moments in their home clash against Crystal Palace, they were ultimately undone by two goals on the counter. Wilfried Zaha scored Palace's second goal, killing off the game in the second half.
But Fulham star Ryan Sessegnon believes his team need time to become a cohesive unit, having brought in numerous signings this summer.
"It is still early days," he said to the Evening Standard.
"The whole back four had not played together before. It is going to take time. It is a work in progress.
"The new signings are good. It is going to take a long time for it to gel. We have to keep learning and improving. In the Premier League you have to be clinical."
