Fulham boss Roy Hodgson wants to keep Tottenham's want-away striker Roman Pavlyuchenko in England.
The People says Hodgson enquired about the striker when Spurs pipped him to the signing of Peter Crouch in the summer.
And he is ready to tempt Spurs again, either with a cutprice £7m bid or the offer of a loan deal for the player.
Hodgson is desperate for a goalscorer and Pavlyuchenko has handed Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp an ultimatum: Pick me, or I quit in January.
