Fulham have told Rangers they can sign Steven Davis for £3 million.

The Daily Record says Gers are still weighing up whether or not to pay Fulham the full £3m they want for Davis - and could use former Cottagers target Daniel Cousin as a makeweight.

Davis emerged as a key man in Walter Smith's set-up after his loan move from Craven Cottage in January but the Londoners now appear to have lost interest in striker Cousin, who was supposed to move the other way.
