Fulham goalkeeper Mark Schwarzer was impressed by Sunderland counterpart Keiren Westwood during their 0-0 draw on Saturday.

The Aussie had a word with the Republic of Ireland international at the final whistle.

Schwarzer liked the look of his rival, saying: "He was very ­confident. I had a word with him and told him he did very well.

"I told him keep coming for those crosses, I liked it when he did that."
